The Corning Beautification Committee is having a fundraiser to purchase NEW Christmas decorations for the utility poles. We are wanting to purchase snowflakes. We decided on snowflakes because IF they can’t be taken down right away due to bad/cold weather, they will at least have the theme of winter. Each snowflake will cost approximately $550-$600
The 2015 Miss Independence Pageant will be held July 4th at Wynne Park Stage at the following times: Ages 7-9 – 1pm, attire is Sunday Best Ages 10-13 – 3pm, attire is Formal Dress Ages 14-18 – 6pm, attire is Formal Dress The pageant for all other ages will be held June 27th: 0-11 Months:

The Annual 4th of July Celebration will be held at Wynn Park in Corning, Arkansas on July 4, 2015. Kicking off the day will be a parade starting on Second St not far from the Courthouse and ending at Wynn Park. Hickory Smoked BBQ, Beauty Pageants, Games and Rides thru-out the day. Rides by Star
The Corning Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2013 Ladies Night Event was held on December 2, 2013. Chairperson Amanda Wiedeman did an outstanding job making the occasion a big success. All of the tables entered in the Table Decorating Contest were beautiful, making a difficult job for the judges. Contest Winners were: 1st Place, Red Hat
