Input needed on the Future I-57 project (ARDOT Job 100512) which goes through Clay, Greene, Lawrence, and Randolph Counties. The project is being led by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) in cooperation with the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT). The proposed project will examine alternatives to improve Hwy. 67 from Walnut Ridge to the Arkansas-Missouri state line to enhance connectivity and continuity of the National Highway System. The project will be designated as a section of future Interstate 57 (I-57) and would be approximately 40 miles in length. We are evaluating two alternatives and three connectors to the Missouri state line (see attached Area of Influence Map).
The Questionnaire below is to kindly request your input and feedback to identify such development and growth areas. It includes specific information about the project and questions to gather your input. Your time is valuable and the questionnaire should not take more than 10-15 minutes to answer and send responses to MALopez@GarverUSA.com. In addition, please review the attached map before completing the questionnaire. If your response to any question is dependent on which alternative is selected, please clarify your comments accordingly.
You can also share your input verbally over the phone if easier, at a time that would be convenient for you by calling Michele Lopez at 214-451-2976. We hope to receive your input by next Friday, April 2nd. Your input would be appreciated so that your local knowledge would be incorporated into the evaluation and it would greatly contribute to our analysis.
