The Corning Area Chamber of Commerce is operated as a independent nonprofit organization for the overall betterment of the Corning Area. It is run by the membership through an elected board of directors. Elections are held annually for five new board members for a three year term. The first board meeting after the election of the new board members, the board elects a new president and vice president.

The Board of Directors and members serving on the many committees do so without pay. We currently have the Executive Director and the Secretary Treasurer that receives pay.
